Ever since qualifying as a dentist in 1988, apart from two years as a military dentist, Dr Jacques Keyser have been in general dental practice. a postgraduate diploma in Dental Implantology and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. With a keen interest in restorative and implant dentistry, he has completed a postgraduate diploma in Dental Implantology and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr Mark Hamburger is a registered Specialist Prosthodontist and an expert in implant dentistry. He qualified with a B.D.S from the University of Witwatersrand in 1984 and was awarded the prestigious B.Ch.D. (Hons) from the University of Pretoria in 1985.He has since built up an enormous experience as a clinician, as a lecturer and as a published author. Regarded as a leader in the field of prosthodontics he has been instrumental in the design and production of computer guided implantology. Following his position as Senior Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand Department of Prosthodontics Mark was invited to be the Head of implantology at the dental division of Boots the chemist.Mark is currently the clinical director of Portman Healthcare and senior lecturer at the Portman Academy.

Dr. Nic Hanekom joined the clinic in Aston Clinton in February 1997 as a partner after working as an associate dentist in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, for six years. Previous to this, he worked as a military dentist. Dr. Nic Hanekom has a keen interest in restorative and endodontic dentistry.

After leaving Aylesbury high, Leila went to study dentistry at Sheffield University and graduated in 2001. She stayed working in Sheffield and North Derbyshire area for another 6 years after graduation and then eventually decided to come home in 2007.
Leila Thaley is a dental phobia certified dentist.
BChD (Leeds) 1996, MFDS RCS (Edin) 2004
Supraja qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 1996. In her 18 years in dentistry she has gained considerable experience working in a number of different dental specialist teams including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry and Special Needs Dentistry. During this time she gained her Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She then embarked on a specialist training course in Orthodontics at The Royal London Hospital and Ipswich Hospital where she gained her membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
This then led to her being placed on the GDC Orthodontic Specialist list.
LMD (Lisbon) 2007
Tania completed her dental degree in 2007 at the ISCS Egas Moniz in Lisbon, she then took a position in the stomatology dept in a hospital in Portugal. In 2009 Tania completed her integrated masters degree in Periodontology at ISCS Egas Moniz and in 2011 she completed a Surgical Periodontology degree. Tania has also completed a 12 month residency course in Implantology in London.

Jo has had a varied professional career, commencing with 12 years service in the RAF within the UK, before leaving and working in Private, Corporate and NHS practices which also included working for the BBC and The Prestigious Baird Health Clinic at St Thomas’s Hospital London.

Rosie qualified as a dental hygienist in 1994 from Edinburgh School of Dental Hygiene and worked for two and a half years in the Channel Islands before returning to her native Northern Ireland where she worked for seven and a half years. During that time she was the secretary of the Northern Ireland branch of the British Dental Hygienists and Therapists Association and Council Representative. Rosie then moved to Buckinghamshire where she worked as a hygienist for six years before moving south to join the Meon Dental Centre. She is trained to give local anaesthetics, which enable her to carry out thorough hygiene procedures in a completely painless way. Rosie is married with two teenage girls.

I qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2000 but originally worked as a trainee dental nurse since the age of 16. I had an employment break to raise my family, Max, Katy and Ella. I have worked here since 2014 and enjoy every moment of it. I love going to schools, running church coffee mornings to give oral health advice to both children and adults. In my spare time, I love being with my family and friends. I dislike slimy things like fish, frogs and snakes.

Joanne has been a Dental Nurse for nearly 4 years now from initially training and then qualifying in 2016. Before being a Dental Nurse she has had a mixture of different jobs. Joanne worked in a hospital for the council, a public house and a warehouse. Joanne enjoy going for walks, cookery, dancing, singing and eating food. She dislike spiders, sharks, olives and peppers.

Marian trained as a Dental Nurse 1977 in Hertfordshire when she left school. Since then she has become Practice Manager here at Aston Clinton and previously managed several other practices all over the UK ranging from High Wycombe, Harley St London and Cheltenham before settling here October 2013.
Sophie joined Aston Clinton Dental Clinic to cover maternity leave October 2017 and is happy to extend this position at the moment.
Liz joined the practice Jan 2017, she loves her family, dog, friends and home. She's currently enjoying motherhood again with a daughter born Nov 2017.
